He is a beautiful baby and even just hours old he seems very alert and content.
Meghan is doing great.
She was amazing, making it through 12 hours of labor at home, before going into the hospital.Diego was born after 5 hours of pushing, and by looking at Meghan, you would never guess.

Congratulations you two. How exciting. You did it....you waited till the 24th. Cant wait to meet Diego and tell him I came up with his name :)
OH BOY, OH BOY!! Congrats on the birth of your baby BOY! Oh, and congrats on that crazy 5 hours of pushing. WOW! Most doctors put a limit of 3 hours on pushing. You did so much work! I'm so excited for you and your cute little family!! I can't wait to meet him and "remeet" you, too!
Wow...8lb. 11 oz.!!! Way to go Meghan, you made it! And now you get to hold your precious little baby boy. All of us Garlands (I called Donna and told her!) are so happy for you and Eddie. I hope you have a pleasant hospital stay and recover quickly.

YEEEESSS! I SO wished I had a laptop while out of state so I could check your blog, but I didn't. I'm so very happy for you! LIttle Diego will be the joy of your life. You will realize you never knew you could love someone as much as you love your child. The emotion can be overwhelming. Congrats!

Holy Crap you pushed for 5 hours,, wow, you poor thing...But its worth it =].. So did you go into labor natuarlly, or induced,, lol just catching up on old blogs, sense Jessy inticed me to start my own lol...
