Worst Blogger Ever!!

Ok, I have to admit, I am the worst blogger ever! I am a devoted reader to all my blogging friends' pages, and I haven't updated my own in almost two months...I am feeling the pressure. :) I don't have any pictures right now, I'm going to need some lessons from you moms out there on taking millions of pictures, I've never been very good at it. And, for some reason, I feel really weird posting just pictures of myself. I promise a belly shot soon.

Our ultrasound is this Friday, so look for some fuzzy shots over the weekend...I'll do my best for a belly shot, too (Eddie's not much for taking pictures, either!). I'll tell you all right now, we have decided against finding out the sex of the baby...well, I decided and my husband lovingly went along, even though I know he's dying to find out. If you know me, you know I might be one of the most impatient people in the world, but I made my mind up about this and we're going to be surprised. I think it will be a very special moment in the delivery room for us when we find out!

Since my last post I have grown a lot and I'm now feeling the little one move around quite a bit, right now in fact! I think he or she is dancin' around because he or she wants some ice cream, yummy! Since we're not going to find out the sex of the baby, I needed to come up with a neutral nursery theme. I found an adorable bed set on the Babies R Us website called Froggy Tales, so I've decided to do froggies. Hopefully it will be cute. I'm not the worlds greatest decorator, so we'll see, it will be interesting. I'm also a terrible procrastinator...here we are 1/2 way through the pregnancy and I haven't even cleaned out the room for the baby! UGH! Oh well, I work best under pressure, I think?

Not much else is new with us at the moment, but I felt the need to write and was feelin' the pressure from Liz and Rachel! Thanks Girls!

Yeah I was beginning to wonder when we were going to see another post from the Diaz belly. I'm more than willing to come over and help set up the nursery. I love to paint and decorate, though, I"m not as talented as some. You can play with larissa and I'll do your nursery!

HOORAY!!!
This is wonderful! I had no idea I was so influential. If only Jon responded to my nagging like this. I have always admired couples who wait until their baby's birth to find out the sex. Talk about the ultimate surprise, I can't imagine! You're right, it's going to be a moment you will never forget. I, on the other hand, was too much of a control freak to not know. I am a planner with a capital P! This was so wonderful reading this, thanks for the update. I can't wait to see those ultrasound pictures, and who knows, there might be two little Eddies in there!!!

Oh, and I guarantee you, once your precious, beautiful baby is here, you will have no problem finding pictures to post!

I might just have to buy some of the baby's nursery stuff before Saturday...so when we go register everything can match!!!
Oh, and I've changed my mind....I need to know for sure that it's an Eddie Jr...because there are so many cute baby clothes I just have to buy him!!!

I have been WAITING AND WAITING for a new post - checking your blog almost daily! Now I'm gonna wait for a new pic...

I think not finding out is the best surprise ever (gee, I wonder why?). It is so cool to see the look on your husband's face when he realizes if you have a boy or girl (he'll see before you, sorry - just the way it tends to work!). You can guarantee Eddie will be searching for a telltale sign of the sex in the ultrasound though (as Mike did) so make sure the tech knows they are to steer clear of that area! Froggies will be perfect for either - and fun for an older infant to look at. How exciting that the little one is moving! Any hiccups yet?

Yeah! A new update! Froggies sounds really cute. I think it'll be great! Makayla has a neutral room, too. It's Classic Winnie the Pooh. I love CWTP because it reminds me of a day when life was more simple and childhood was less stressful. (She has some old fashioned toys to go along with that displayed in her room as well.)

Wow! You're not going to find out the sex?? I "had" to know!! I thought we'd save it for a surprise, but I was starting to get antsy even in my 1st trimester. Then someone told me, "it's going to be a surprise no matter when you find out". And with all the uncertainty and surprises that go into that day of delivery (I do suggest going to classes and reading books, but every women's experience is different and you WILL have surprises!), just know that "Makayla" was about to be born and not "Daniel"...I don't know where I'm going with this! I also enjoyed dreaming about Makayla, the girl that was growing inside me. How she'd look, how she'd sound, how she'd love the color pink and ballet classes.

My best friend had her second baby in June. They decided to wait until the baby was born to find out the sex. They were convinced it was a boy. I thought it was a girl. They did something so cute! In the LDR, they hung up two cute outfits, a boy's and a girl's. And then she gave birth to a girl (I totally willed it!! ;) They were so sure it was a boy that they didn't even have a name yet!! There they were brainstorming in the first hours of her life. Crazy!!! Anyway. I talk to much. My comment lengths are getting out of control.

So...happy dreaming, happy nesting, happy second half of your pregancy. I'll be checking in again to see a new belly pic! ;)

So good to hear from you. I am so sorry the ultra sound was canceled. You have that date circled on the calendar and it just can't come fast enough. So glad to hear all is well. Now go eat that ice cream!
