I Resigned!

Today was a big day. I resigned from my job, I'm going to be a stay at home Mom. I have never wanted anything more than I want to be a stay at home Mommy, yet it was bittersweet handing in my letter this morning. I have 14 1/2 weeks left at my job, which sounds like an eternity and not enough time all in one. I am sad to leave the friends I have made, but so excited to be a full time Mommy.

I've worked at the same place for 5 years now, and have had 3 different positions...each unique and challenging in their own way. I've gained tons of personal and professional experience...not to mention I worked at the same place as my husband! Even though we didn't really see each other too much at work, it's always been kind of cool to tell people that we work for the same place!

Sorry this is so short and there are no photos...we're off to our first class at the hospital tonight!

Yeah! I was so happy to read this. Even though our city will suffer greatly from your loss.....your family will reap so many rewards.

I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! And proud of Eddie to for agreeing to this and supporting your desires and decision! You will NOT regret it - I can assure you! It is so cool to be able to see each and every little thing your baby does and discovers. Yeah for you guys! And despite what Eddie has been told from other none-too-helpful guys, I really do hope you get lots out of your childbirth classes. It really is a special time for you and things like going to classes together help celebrate that.

It is such a joy to be a stay at home mommy! You will have so much fun, being able to watch your baby grow and do all the funny baby things they do! My hubby and I had made the same decision shortly after Allyson was born, that we would have our own business so that I could stay at home.

Yahoo! Now maybe you'll have time to visit CSCC MOPS group?

I have been a stay at home mommy for over 6 years now, and I love it. I wish I had been able to do so from the time my oldest daughter was a newborn.

Enjoy your new career.

Congratulations Meghan! Although, I know you will be greatly missed at the department. I hope your remaining time there is enjoyable.
And I know you are going to make a great stay at home mommy. I think it's wonderful you and Eddy made this decision!

Enjoy your new occupation, my sweet friend.

I have never regretted my decision to be an at home mom with Jenna. I didn't want to miss anything, it happens too often that the babysitter get's to experience some of the firsts that only a parent should get.
I saw you new baby bump on the Kofoid's blog from Halloween, super cute. I loved it when my belly grew!
